Lakeview

The Lakeview Historic District, added to the National Register in 1996, reflects the city's growth to the north and east from 1900 through the late 1930s. Its homes resemble those in Rainsford but are smaller, many of them cottages and bungalows built for working-class residents. The name comes from nearby Lakeview Cemetery, which overlooked a lake.
